Feng Shui

I came home today to find all of my things in strange places. My couches on the ceiling, my television sat by the pool. My computer in the washer, my clothes, the front lawn. This is what my life looks like in complete disarray. Like walking into the places that you've always known, those which you can navigate in the dead of night simply by counting your steps, and finding that nothing is where it used to be.

The cracks where there was dust and mystery have been swept clean. The vents that have been clogged by selfishness and ignorance have been vacuumed out. Breathing comes easier these days. When we're too lazy or oblivious to do it ourselves, our Heavenly Housekeeper will.

It will take some adjusting to. It will take some brokenness. It will require humility and helplessness, some time. But then you'll start to wonder how you ever lived a different way, how you could ever be happy in a place that wasn't this one. This is home. This is right.

Jesus, You're rearranging the furniture in my life. You've feng shuied it to the point where I'm tripping over myself wondering which way is up. You're turning the tables over, casting out the hypocrites in this den of thieves. The trash can's by the mirror, Jesus. Clean house.
